Ice Hockey Victoria

The Victorian Ice Hockey Association (trading as Ice Hockey Victoria) is the governing body of ice hockey in Victoria, Australia.

The Victorian Ice Hockey Association is a branch of Ice Hockey Australia

As governing body, IHV is responsible:

To promote, manage and administer the sport of ice hockey in Victoria.
To encourage the establishment, development and affiliation of Clubs formed for the purpose of fielding teams competing in the sport of ice hockey.
To affiliate with the Ice Hockey Australia Inc. (IHA) or its lawful successor and to affiliate with any other regularly constituted bodies considered to have objectives consistent with those of Ice Hockey Victoria Incorporated.
To promote, manage and administer representative State and National level ice hockey matches under the rules adopted by Ice Hockey Australia Inc.
To promote, manage and administer ice hockey competition between Clubs within Ice Hockey Victoria Incorporated.
To assist in the promotion, management and administration of ice hockey competition within Associations affiliated with Ice Hockey Victoria.
To acquire, maintain and improve any property, premises, accommodation or equipment as may be considered necessary to further the objects of Ice Hockey Victoria.
To do any and all things necessary to sustain the well-being of Ice Hockey Victoria and to promote and advance the sport of ice hockey in Victoria, in Australia and Internationally
